چکیده
Abstract Introduction The oxygen desaturation index (ODI) quantifies the number of desaturations per hour sleep and is a valuable parameter in diagnosing sleep-related breathing disorders. While oximetry alone insufficient for an accurate diagnosis, it provides meaningful insights Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) ODI has been shown to correlate with Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI). close relationship between other parameters especially interesting home-based studies and/or screening, which typically use limited set sensors (but almost always include oximetry) are becoming increasingly more prevalent. An automated tool analysis will thus be paramount clinician. Methods current study aims evaluate novel solution scoring, provided by Somnilog. We selected 20 overnight recordings, mix hospital- recordings from dataset Antwerp University hospital internal database collected several French centers. analyzed population (10 females, age 53.0±16.7 years old, BMI 28.8±4.8 kg/m²) had variety diagnoses, including non-apneic snoring central obstructive apnea. Arterial oxygen desaturation during esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
This prospective study evaluated the incidence and severity of arterial oxygen desaturation during esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and assessed clinical factors in relation to arterial oxygen desaturation. Following pulmonary function testing, 192 patients underwent elective EGD with continuous recording of arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2). 62 patients (32.3%) showed arterial oxygen desaturat...
متن کاملOxygen desaturation after dental anaesthesia.
The incidence of oxygen desaturation (less than 91%) was measured by pulse oximetry during recovery from outpatient dental anaesthesia in 120 ASA grade I and II children. Alternate cases were given supplementary oxygen 5 litre min-1 by mask. Eighteen of 60 children (30%) given air and 14 of 60 (23%) given oxygen exhibited desaturation (P greater than 0.05). Desaturation was more likely to occur...
متن کاملOxygen desaturation during fiberoptic bronchoscopy.
A prospective study was performed to detect oxygen saturation (SaO2) during and following fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) in 50 patients. Twenty-five patients (group 1) underwent the procedure without and 25 (group 2) with supplemental oxygen. The SaO2 declined from the baseline value of 96.4% to 92.08% in group 1 and to 94.88% in group 2 after bronchoscopy alone. The decline was also noted when ...

15 صفحه اولwuthering heights and the concept of marality/a sociological study of the novel
to discuss my point, i have collected quite a number of articles, anthologies, and books about "wuthering heights" applying various ideas and theories to this fantastic story. hence, i have come to believe that gadamer and jauss are rightful when they claim that "the individaul human mind is the center and origin of all meaning," 3 that reading literature is a reader-oriented activity, that it ...
